Silicone Extrusions

Silaflex™ offers a wide range of extrusions and profiles in both solid and cellular (sponge) form. Our tubing is used in a variety of markets and applications such as electrical sleeving, vending machines, dairy machinery, food processing equipment and pharmaceutical industries.
All products are available in a variety of grades and colors including special grades such as Flame Retardant (FR), High Temperature (THT), High Tear and Fluorosilicone, We manufacture all grades of silicone.

Silaflex™ also has an extensive range of cutting and jointing equipment to produce seals, gaskets, washers, and sleeves. Vulcanized jointed gaskets from profiles and sections, often incorporate items such as clips and valves. A good example of this is an oven door seal.

Washers can be fabricated either by high speed punching, or by lathe cutting. Either way Silaflex™ can hold the tolerances of your demanding applications.

”Silicone Engineering Ltd” U.K. has developed a cost effective solution to provide sponge extrusions and sheeting to industries requiring FDA compliance. FDA compliant silicone has traditionally always been in a solid form, which, often did not have the required compression properties to suit the application. Now that we have developed an FDA compliant sponge product, a whole new world of FDA compression critical seals, are available.

Sleeves are produced using automated precision cutting machines to ensure high tolerance parts are maintained for both small and high volume orders. Most extrusions are available with and without Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA).
